This is the 1st edition of ASSM. The workshop is co-located with ICSIS 2026 — the International Conference on Smart & Intelligent Systems, Valencia, Spain.

Workshop Scope

We invite original contributions on autonomous driving, intelligent transportation, and sustainability.

Autonomous driving — the ability of vehicles to operate without human intervention — holds the promise of safe, efficient, and universally accessible transportation. In line with the main theme of ICSIS 2026, this workshop focuses on autonomous driving, intelligent transportation, and sustainability.

ASSM 2026 brings together researchers working on autonomous driving, sustainable transportation, human-centered mobility design, AI safety, responsible innovation, and resilient intelligent systems. We welcome both established and emerging perspectives across these interconnected domains.
